Project Scope
Legacy systems from the 80’s were still being utilized when I stepped into a recent work position. Internal advisors were frustrated, entering raw queries into SQL databases and accessing sluggish UI still running on DOS, reducing time spent working directly with clients on energy solutions.
My Contributions
Utilizing direct end-user feedback, and validating decisions throughout with rapid testing and iteration, I created 3 new platforms for data-heavy analytics, leading to:
A completely refactored advisor data-collection experience, leading to a 70% increase in advisory outcome speed.
Establishment of a strong design foundation for future features, ensuring design consistency regardless of new features down the line.
